"God is not good"

Have you ever heard the trilemma posed by Epicurus:

“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

It seems pretty rational at face value doesn't it.  However if we read Proverbs 18:17 then we should examine him

"The first to plead his case seems right, Until another comes and examines him"

Let's take this piece by piece. The format of each of these is a question (A), a qualifier (B) and a conclusion (C) as exemplified

“Is God willing to prevent evil (A), but not able?(B)  Then he is not omnipotent. (C)"

(A)Is God willing to prevent evil- Yes.
(B) Is He unable to prevent evil- No, He IS able
(C) The conclusion that He is not omnipotent is then false.

"(A)Is he able, (B) but not willing? (C) Then he is malevolent."

(A) Is He able- Yes
(B) but not willing- That depends on how evil is being used for greater good
(C) Then He is malevolent- False. This is to state that evil is without purpose. Evil is a byproduct of freewill, and something that we chose rather than God gave us.

"(A) Is he both able and (B) willing? Then whence cometh evil?(C) "

(A) He is able
(B) He is willing
(C) Evil comes from man, not God.

God made the world and everything in it, Mankind included. He made everything in a state of perfection. We were in paradise with no sin, no war, no suffering. God made everything and everything was Good. Now, we as Mankind took it upon ourselves to think that we could be as God and have our eyes opened and we get to define what is and is not good and evil- and we rejected God, His word, Paradise, and goodness. We began the war with God.

If God were to eradicate all of evil, He must do away with the source that allowed it into a good world to begin with- Mankind. He would have to completely destroy humanity.  God, not out of malevolence, not out of evil, but immense grace and compassion to a people whom He loves and is patient with, has allowed evil for a time

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.-2 Peter 3:9

A loving and compassionate God that has allowed for a time mankind to taste of how disgusting and how awful evil is - because we chose it- and has stated that if we choose to lay down arms and stop our feeble rebellion against Him and what He deems as good, He will redeem us. That is the farthest thing from malevolence. For God to say that He'll forgive us for our continually petulant offenses to both Him and all the goodness He has given us. Romans 3 testifies to the ingratitude to God which is at the core of  the question of "Then whence cometh evil? "

as it is written: “There is no righteous person, not even one; There is no one who understands, There is no one who seeks out God; They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, There is not even one.”  “Their throat is an open grave,  With their tongues they keep deceiving,” “The venom of asps is under their lips”; “Their mouth is full of cursing and bitterness”;  “Their feet are swift to shed blood,  Destruction and misery are in their paths,  And they have not known the way of peace.” “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

There are still today that will look at starving people and curse God, but they will not feed those starving people as God commanded them to. There are people that will look at homeless people and they will blame God, but they will make no effort to alleviate the homeless from their predicament. Evil exists, and continues to exist because mankind has allowed, and continues to allow it. There are many Atheist's that dogmatically and viscerally attack God and that which is good but they condemn Him as evil for their own perpetuation of evil.

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride, arrogance, the evil way, And the perverted mouth, I hate. - Proverbs 8:13

God would be fully justified in wiping out all of humanity away that has spat in His face and said, "I understand everything created by you and for you, better than you". That is the real assertion of the core of the argument. It is to day "If God were God, why would God not do things based on my standard- of which I do not even do them myself". Even the question supposed are stealing from God as, without God what is the standard of morality in which one can even gage both good and evil? If one gages them based off a morally subjective state, then they have no standing to accuse God.

As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive.- Genesis 50:20

"(A) Is he neither able (B) nor willing? Then why call him God?(C)

(A) As presented  He is Able (B) and willing, and He is God (C)

The conclusion is that God is good. Man is not.

Hotties

So I got a light reprimand the other day in a chat full of believers. That happens from time to time. I ruffled some feathers and evoked a fair amount of good natured teasing because I had the pernicious gall to state as a matter of fact, that I find Evangeline Lily "Hot".  Some took issue with the word "Hot" some took issue with the subject of admiration of any specific feature at all (as I did say something directly about her smile, as it makes me feel warm in my heart). Granted that one of the woman has referred to Fabio from back in the day as "hot" and some of the women have mentioned Chris Evans on more than a few occasions, But that all seemed to (mostly jokingly) fall by the way side because I mentioned Lily (who has does work about reforming Hollywood and how it treats women). Why is it such a taboo to mention attractivity? Why is that so bad and perceived as sinful by some?  Why are so many of us Puritanical when it comes to certain subjects taking if farther than the scriptural account? Look at these:

Gen 29:17
And Leah’s eyes were weak, but Rachel was beautiful in figure and appearance.

In figure and appearance??  The Bible records that Rachel was in essence, Hot. She was attractive. That is part of the story.  She was beautiful in figure. It doesn't even say which part, as some would take objection to that and we'll get to that in a moment.

Gen 39:6
So he left Joseph in charge of everything that he owned; and with him there he did not concern himself with anything except the food which he ate. Now Joseph was handsome in form and appearance.
Its fair game for both genders. Joseph was handsome in FORM and appearance. Guy was rocking the attractive bod according to scripture and he was handsome. Do we omit that part of scripture because it may offend those that go far far beyond scripture and make even attraction a burdensome event?

Gen 24:16
The young woman was very beautiful, a virgin; no man had had relations with her. She went down to the spring, filled her jar, and came up.

Oh LAWD help me, VERY beautiful... Not just beautiful but beauty in abundance. Get the burkas!!!
What about highlighting specific feature as attractive, sure there must be some issue with that, that has to be Biblically illegal right?

1 sam 16:12
So he sent word and brought him in. Now he was reddish, with beautiful eyes and a handsome appearance. And the Lord said, “Arise, anoint him; for this is he.

1 sam 17:42
When the Philistine looked and saw David, he was contemptuous of him; for he was only a youth, and reddish, with a handsome appearance.

1 sam 25:3
(now the man’s name was Nabal, and his wife’s name was Abigail. And the woman was intelligent and beautiful in appearance, but the man was harsh and evil in his dealings, and he was a Calebite),
These are just handful of examples.  There is pretty much a whole book of this stuff in case this isn't enough

Good God Almighty

I know that some people get hung up on the Divine nature of Yeshua saying that He is not God, because of the verse  in Numbers 23:19
“God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent;
Has He said, and will He not do it?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

One of the objections that people who hold to this view make, is that God- generally referencing the Father, is Spirit, and as such does not have a body or form. This creates issues of inconsistency in the Scriptures, in my opinion, but one of which we are going to look at now, this moment because I just stumbled into it, is , the subject, of The Almighty. (got a little carried away with the commas for dramatic effect, Just read it like Jeff Goldblum or William Shatner)

These are some of the issues one has to reconcile are ( in no particular order)

  1. YHVH does not share glory, Yet Yeshua is worshiped by the angels of God
  2. YHVH there is no Savior but me
  3. YHVH made heaven and earth by His hand, Yeshua made heaven and earth by His hand
  4. YHVH is King of kings and Lord of lords, But Yeshua is the King of kings and the Lord of lords
  5. God is invisible, but they saw him in Exodus 24:10
  6. He had hands and feet, even though He is without form

The context of each of these shows contradiction unless Yeshua and the Father are YHVH, and...how does this work:

The only >>begotten God<< who is in the bosom of >>the Father<<, He has explained Him. -John 1:18 NASB

However, I digress, lets look at Gen 35  for a second. starting in verse 1
1 Then God said to Jacob, “Arise, go up to Bethel and live there, and make an altar there to God, who appeared to you when you fled from your brother Esau.

In the text we see that God appeared to Jacob while he was fleeing Esau, so to get context on that, we head back to chapter 32
Now as Jacob went on his way, the angels of God met him. 2 Jacob said when he saw them, “This is God’s camp.” So he named that place Mahanaim.hen Jacob sent messengers before him to his brother Esau in the land of Seir, the country of Edom.
Jakey is on his way home and he can see that the place he's in is where God camps, and he says to some angels "Hey, is my brothers still all you know, ... murdery? Go ask if we're cool. they come back and are all like

6 The messengers returned to Jacob, saying, “We came to your brother Esau, and furthermore he is coming to meet you, and four hundred men are with him.”
Then Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him until daybreak. 25 When he saw that he had not prevailed against him, he touched the socket of his thigh; so the socket of Jacob’s thigh was dislocated while he wrestled with him. 26 Then he said, “Let me go, for the dawn is breaking.” But he said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” 27 So he said to him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Jacob.” 28 He said, “Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel; for you have striven with God and with men and have prevailed.” 29 Then Jacob asked him and said, “Please tell me your name.” But he said, “Why is it that you ask my name?”

Jacob is asking for the Name, but, He says "You already know my name"
Some people say that the striving with God was in the greater general sense, but the one of whom Jacob is wrestling implies that Jacob already knew.
Who does Jacob say that He was?

Gen 48:3
Then Jacob said to Joseph, “God >>>Almighty<<< appeared to me at Luz in the land of Canaan and blessed me

Jacob states that He wrestled with God Almighty

Rev 1
Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come,>>> the Almighty.”<<<

Revelation 1 states that the one who was pierced is the Alpha and the Omega, who was, is , and is to come the ALMIGHTY. Jacob wrestled with the Lord God Almighty.

YHVH made heaven and earth by his hand, Yeshua made heaven and earth by His hand
The context of each of these shows  contradiction  unless Yeshua and the Father are YHVH

Lets take a look at Hebrews

Hebrews 1
But of the Son He says,
Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,  And the righteous scepter is the scepter of His kingdom.
9 “You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness above Your companions.”
10 And,
You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earthAnd the heavens are the works of Your hands; 11 They will perish, but You remain; And they all will become old like a garment,
12 And like a mantle You will roll them up; Like a garment they will also be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will not come to an end.”

One thing we see in the Hebrews 1 passage is that GOD speaking of the Son says YOUR throne O GOD, pointing out the distinction of persons and also that God is also calling the Son, God.  We see the same differentiation in Amos 5 where the Lord ( YHVH ) makes the distinction from God

Amos 4
11 I overthrew you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah,
And you were like a firebrand snatched from a blaze;
Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the Lord.

When we look at the distinctions and read the Hebrew 1 passage it talks about the Son being the one that made the Heavens and the Earth

Amos 5
“Seek the Lord that you may live,
Or He will break forth like a fire, O house of Joseph,
And it will consume with none to quench it for Bethel,
7 For those who turn justice into wormwood
And cast righteousness down to the earth.”
8 He who made the Pleiades and Orion
And changes deep darkness into morning,
Who also darkens day into night,
Who calls for the waters of the sea
And pours them out on the surface of the earth,
The Lord is His name.
The Psalmist states that YHVH is the one that made the stars in Psalms 8

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained - Psalms 8:3

I know I'm getting a little long with the verses here but check it out.

Nehemiah 9
You alone are the Lord.
You have made the heavens,
The heaven of heavens with all their host,
The earth and all that is on it,
The seas and all that is in them.
You give life to all of them
And the heavenly host bows down before You.

John 1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

From these two passages we again still see that there are two persons, but one entity. This Word - which we know is Yeshua from other passages, and God which we can safely say is the Father. Word was with God, and was God.  So when we look again at the passage of Nehemiah and John 1, we can see that YHVH alone made the heaven and earth, and in John it is still consistent to say that Nothing was created apart from Him.

YHVH does not share glory, Yet Yeshua is worshipped by the angels of God

Lets look at this passage in Isaiah 48

“For My own sake, for My own sake, I will act;
For how can My name be profaned?
And My glory I will not give to another.
12 “Listen to Me, O Jacob, even Israel whom I called;
I am He, I am the first, I am also the last.
13 “Surely My hand founded the earth,
And My right hand spread out the heavens;
When I call to them, they stand together.
14 “Assemble, all of you, and listen!
Who among them has declared these things?
The Lord loves him; he will carry out His good pleasure on Babylon,
And His arm will be against the Chaldeans.
15 “I, even I, have spoken; indeed I have called him,
I have brought him, and He will make his ways successful.
16 “Come near to Me, listen to this:
From the first I have not spoken in secret,
From the time it took place, I was there.
And now the Lord God has sent Me, and His Spirit.”
Consider that if verse 11 is Yeshua saying that He does not share His glory with another, then why does He spend so much time giving glory to the Father?  If verse 12 is to be taken as meaning the Father, then why would verse 16 "refer to the Lord God who sent Me"

Hebrews 1:6
And when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says,
“And let all the angels of God worship Him.”
John 12
12 On the next day the large crowd who had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 13 took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and began to shout, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel.” 14 Jesus, finding a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written, 15 “Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your King is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.” 16 These things His disciples did not understand at the first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written of Him, and that they had done these things to Him

King of Israel Glorified = Yeshua

Look at this passage in Zechariah 9:14

And the LORD will be king over all the earth; in that day the LORD will be the only one, and His name the only one.

Unless Yeshua is overthrowing the Father as King of Israel and stealing His Glory, then it fits that Yeshua and the Father are one, as stated in John 10:30

I and the Father are One
Not the same PERSON but both are YHVH/ God

YHVH is King of kings and Lord of lords, But Yeshua is the King of kings and the Lord of lords

“Now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require from you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, 13 and to keep the Lord’s commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good? 14 Behold, to the Lord your God belong heaven and the highest heavens, the earth and all that is in it. 15 Yet on your fathers did the Lord set His affection to love them, and He chose their descendants after them, even you above all peoples, as it is this day. 16 So circumcise your heart, and stiffen your neck no longer. 17 For the Lord your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God who does not show partiality nor take a bribe - Deut 10
And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. 12 His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. 13 He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. 15 From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. 16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”- Rev 19

that you keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 which He will bring about at the proper time—He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen- 1 Tim 6

These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.”- Rev 17

Deuteronomy 10:17 is stating that the King of Kings and the Lord of lords is YHVH, and the other texts provided show that King of Kings Lord of lords Title belongs to Yeshua

YHVH there is no Savior but me

Isaiah 43
“For I am the Lord your God,
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I have given Egypt as your ransom,
Cush and Seba in your place.

Luke 2:11
for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord

There is no Savior but God- but Christ is the Savior... Look at this, Were we purchased for God or are we Christs own possession?

Titus 2
looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, 14 who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.

Rev 5
And they *sang a new song, saying,
“Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.
10 “You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.”

Acts 20:28
28 Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

...Which one is the Shepherd?

Ezekiel 34:11-16
For thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. 12 As a shepherd cares for his herd in the day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will deliver them from all the places to which they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day. 13 I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land. 14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and their grazing ground will be on the mountain heights of Israel. There they will lie down on good grazing ground and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. 15 I will feed My flock and I will lead them to rest,” declares the Lord God. 16 “I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken and strengthen the sick; but the fat and the strong I will destroy. I will feed them with judgment.

Matt 15:24
But He answered and said, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

John 10:11
I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
John 10:27
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.

-
One of the objections that I hear regarding the Divine nature of Yeshua is that God cannot be tempted and that Yeshua was tempted. Can God be tempted?

Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.

James 1:13
Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.

Psalms 78:41
Again and again they tempted God,
And pained the Holy One of Israel.

Psalm 78:56
Yet they tempted and rebelled against the Most High God
And did not keep His testimonies,

Who is the King of Israel, YHVH or Yeshua

John 12
On the next day the large crowd who had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 13 took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and began to shout, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel.

John 1:49
Nathanael answered Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel.

Is 44
“Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:
‘I am the first and I am the last,
And there is no God besides Me.
7 ‘Who is like Me? Let him proclaim and declare it;
Yes, let him recount it to Me in order,
From the time that I established the ancient nation.
And let them declare to them the things that are coming
And the events that are going to take place.
8 ‘Do not tremble and do not be afraid;
Have I not long since announced it to you and declared it?
And you are My witnesses.
Is there any God besides Me,
Or is there any other Rock?
I know of none.’”

The various personhood detailed in verse 6 of Isaiah 44 where the Lord- King of Israel and his Redeemer- The Lord of Hosts- all being stated as YHVH  should alone be enough to establish that Yeshua is YHVH, but we continue... Who is that Rock that established the ancient nation?

1 Cor 10
For I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that our fathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea; 2 and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 and all ate the same spiritual food; 4 and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ.

...and that isn't even detailing all the mentions of Him being the cornerstone that was rejected.

-
Who can forgive sins?

Luke 5:21
The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?"

At the time of Luke, the Pharisees understanding is that God alone can forgive sins.
And they're right. They're familiar with  Exodus 23:21

Exodus 23:21
Be on your guard before him and obey his voice; do not be rebellious toward him, for he will not pardon your transgression, since My name is in him.

The Name is in him, HaShem,  often interchangeable with YHVH.

Isaiah 43
I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake,
And I will not remember your sins.
26 Put Me in remembrance, let us argue our case together;
State your cause, that you may be proved right.

God is invisible, but they saw him in Exodus 24, He had hands and feet, even though He is without form, how would this work

Exodus 24
9Then Moses went up with Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, 10 and they saw the God of Israel; and under His feet there appeared to be a pavement of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself. 11 Yet He did not stretch out His hand against the nobles of the sons of Israel; and they saw God, and they ate and drank. 12 Now the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and remain there, and I will give you the stone tablets with the law and the commandment which I have written for their instruction.” 13 So Moses arose with Joshua his servant, and Moses went up to the mountain of God.
John 1:18
No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the FatherHe has explained Him.

So if no one has seen God, then who was it that Moses saw in Exodus 24? Lets look closer at the descriptors found elsewhere

Ezekiel 1:26
Now above the expanse that was over their heads there was something resembling a throne, like lapis lazuli in appearance; and on that which resembled a throne, high up, was a figure with the appearance of a man. 27 Then I noticed from the appearance of His loins and upward something like glowing metal that looked like fire all around within it, and from the appearance of His loins and downward I saw something like fire; and there was a radiance around Him. 28 As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell on my face and heard a voice speaking.
Ezekiel 2
Then He said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet that I may speak with you!” 2 As He spoke to me the Spirit entered me and set me on my feet; and I heard Him speaking to me. 3 Then He said to me, “Son of man, I am sending you to the sons of Israel, to a rebellious people who have rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me to this very day. 4 I am sending you to them who are stubborn and obstinate children, and you shall say to them,Thus says the Lord God.’

Daniel 7
9 “I kept looking Until thrones were set up, And the Ancient of Days took His seat;
His vesture was like white snow And the hair of His head like pure wool.
His throne was ablaze with flames, Its wheels were a burning fire.
10 “A river of fire was flowing And coming out from before Him;
Thousands upon thousands were attending Him, And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him; The court sat, And the books were opened.

Revelation 1
and in the middle of the lampstands I saw one like a son of man, clothed in a robe reaching to the feet, and girded across His chest with a golden sash. 14 His head and His hair were white like white wool, like snow; and His eyes were like a flame of fire. 15 His feet were like burnished bronze, when it has been made to glow in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of many waters. 16 In His right hand He held seven stars, and out of His mouth came a sharp two-edged sword; and His face was like the sun shining in its strength.
17 When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. And He placed His right hand on me, saying, “Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, 18 and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

Who is this fiery white haired figure that dwells in precious stone encrusted dwellings? Scripture defines Him as the Living One who was dead but is alive forevermore.  The Lamb who was slain

saying with a loud voice,
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.”- Revelation 5

Who is the branch of David, YHVH or Yeshua?

Is 42
5 Thus says God the Lord,
Who created the heavens and stretched them out,
Who spread out the earth and its offspring,
Who gives breath to the people on it
And spirit to those who walk in it,
6 “I am the Lord, I have called You in righteousness,
I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You,
And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people,
As a light to the nations,
7 To open blind eyes,
To bring out prisoners from the dungeon
And those who dwell in darkness from the prison.
8 I am the Lord, that is My name;
I will not give My glory to another,
Nor My praise to graven images.
Psalm 110
A Psalm of David.
The LORD says to my Lord:
Sit at My right hand
Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”
Jer 23 ( YHVH )
Behold, the days are coming,” declares the LORD,
“When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch;
And He will reign as king and act wisely
And do justice and righteousness in the land . “In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell securely; And this is His name by which He will be called, ‘The LORD our righteousness.’
The Child that was born will be Mighty God and also Eternal Father on the throne of David?

Isaiah 9
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us;
And the government will rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
7 There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace,
On the throne of David and over his kingdom,
To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness
From then on and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.

The conclusion is this, that Yeshua is Ha Shem, the Name of YHVH. Yeshua was the Child born called "God with us" sent by YHVH to rule upon the throne of David, The YHVH that is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, The King of Israel.

Matthew 1
She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” 22 Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”

Phil 2
Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped

Recently at Applebees.

A funny thing happened to me the other day. I pulled into a parking space at the Applebees that I spend too much time at, and I parked next to a pretty sweet classic car that had the website of a Messianic community decaled on the back windshield. I admired the car as I went inside and sat down ignoring the masking restrictions. I took a quick survey of the room and saw two tall  bar tables with three men at one table and three women at the other. My intuition told me that these were the ones that had the Messianic hot-rod outside. I put in my order for some fried cheese and a chicken quesadilla and decided that I would go introduce myself.  I walked over, looked a them in the eye and zeroed in on the most confident looking man and said "that your ride out there?". "Yes" he said. "I parked next to you and admired it. I noticed the back windshield, might I ask as to what you all are doing for Sukkot?". We talked a little back and forth as they explained that they are staying local and that Sukkot will be mostly in homes with communal gatherings at their church/synagogue. Two of  the men seemed eager to meet another believer in the area and genuinely wanted me to fellowship with them. They asked me about attending on the Sabbath, and I stated that I generally can't attend fellowship due to work, and thats when the third man crossed his arms and laid out a judgement "Working on the Sabbath...well...psh". The two men that were with him gave him a stern look as if to silence the third man, but it had seemed that the third had already chosen to not speak any longer with this "Sabbath breaker"

I glanced down at the man that no longer wanted to look at me and I casually mentioned how the priests do temple service and are blameless and how there is this caveat in scripture

5 He commanded them, saying, “This is the thing that you shall do: one third of you, who come in on the sabbath and keep watch over the king’s house 6 (one third also shall be at the gate Sur, and one third at the gate behind the guards), shall keep watch over the house for defense. 7 Two parts of you, even all who go out on the sabbath, shall also keep watch over the house of the Lord for the king. 8 Then you shall surround the king, each with his weapons in his hand; and whoever comes within the ranks shall be put to death. And be with the king when he goes out and when he comes in.”9 So the captains of hundreds did according to all that Jehoiada the priest commanded. And each one of them took his men who were to come in on the sabbath, with those who were to go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest. 10 The priest gave to the captains of hundreds the spears and shields that had been King David’s, which were in the house of the Lord. 11 The guards stood each with his weapons in his hand, from the right side of the house to the left side of the house, by the altar and by the house, around the king. 12 Then he brought the king’s son out and put the crown on him and gave him the testimony; and they made him king and anointed him, and they clapped their hands and said, “Long live the king!”- 2 Kings 11

Yeshua healed on the Sabbath, Preservation of life is the greatest commandment, and it is widely understood that Police and Medical personnel have a duty to that preservation of life. This premise isn't a blank check to interpret all work as life or death to justify "going your own way/ seeking your own pleasure  monetarily".  What does scripture say happened with David

3 Now therefore, what do you have on hand? Give me five loaves of bread, or whatever can be found.” 4 The priest answered David and said, “There is no ordinary bread on hand, but there is consecrated bread; if only the young men have kept themselves from women.” 5 David answered the priest and said to him, “Surely women have been kept from us as previously when I set out and the vessels of the young men were holy, though it was an ordinary journey; how much more then today will their vessels be holy?” 6 So the priest gave him consecrated bread; for there was no bread there but the bread of the Presence which was removed from before the Lord, in order to put hot bread in its place when it was taken away.
Seems illegal... unless, you know, you're preserving Life.

As I look over and assess the interaction that I had with these men, I say that the contempt from the third man overshadowed the graciousness and warmth of the other two. I'll likely not not attend their services for reasons that were discussed about who they are and their style. I keep thinking about what would be the case if I was new to the area and knew so little about the Word of God and the appointed time of the Sabbath. What would that ignorant judgement of the third man have done? It would have isolated me from the community from the point that even if I had actually been guilty of transgressions of the Sabbath, They could have addressed then OR allowed the Holy Spirit of God to work within me in the body of other believers.

How often do we write off those that are trying to turn to God for not being as fluent in their walk with Him as WE think that they should be? How many times do we withhold fellowship and pass judgement upon those who we deem need the word of God, when in actuality it is us that is without understanding. Do we ask ourselves that enough?

We Know The Scriptures

We, are Messianic Believers.

We know the scriptures. We can cite the clean and unclean separation of what is and is not food from Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14. We can break down Mark 7 to the bare bones like skinning an elk in hunting season.  We can do a tactical take down of Colossians 2 in the historical context of what it means to not let someone judge you for keeping feasts. We can do a work down of how Romans 14 is about fasting and eating and not eating, and hasn't anything to do with Sabbath keeping.
We can tell you what certain words mean, and what they don't. We can tell you that Grace is not a means to sin, and define sin in 1 John 3:4 and define Love according to the book of James. We can  show you how the word Covenant is missing from two verses in Hebrews 8 but the translators added it to the text anyway. We can rightly divide the racial components of Peters vision and point to how everyone that heard the vision defined it as meaning

We are Messianic Believers, we know the scriptures.

...but what happens when someone doesn't know the scriptures?

Do we roll in with our arsenal prepared? We're locked and loaded and ready to beat the bad doctrine out of those that oppose us?  I know I've done it. I know there are certain fights one gets into not on behalf of the opponent but for the sake of the spectators that might take hold of his bad doctrine.  How do we fight? Do we season our words with Grace? Do we even exemplify Grace at all?
Can our audience hear the word of God over our own mouths that are proclaiming it?  Why aren't they coming to truth when we HAMMER them with scriptures and SHOW them how wrong they are?  Don't they know that we're doing it out of love when we grasp Peter's words calling this ignorant and unstable for using the writings of Paul that way? When we show that our ARGUMENTS are superior, why do people not lay down their objections and join us when we've broken them to silence?

We know the scriptures.
We're Messianic Believers

There are many of us that will dig deep into the fringe and the mysticism. We'll transplant scriptures into parts of Jack and the Beanstalk  and maybe change some of the names, packaging things together and try to sell it to meek Christians as special secret knowledge of God. Why aren't they taking this?
We can tell people that Satan is trying to snare us and bring us low and therefore we must always be one step ahead of Satan by studying him and his movements and his ways and his plots and his schemes, and we'll reach into the box of scriptures to pull out justifications to use for this... like..
But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit acts of immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent, and she does not want to repent of her immorality. 22 Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds. And I will kill her children with pestilence, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds. 24 But I say to you, the rest who are in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who have not known the deep things of Satan, as they call them—I place no other burden on you. (rev 2)
...whoops, no that's the wrong one... you know what never mind, because know the scriptures.

We go through the Torah portions all the time and we can tell you all the cool parallels of Joseph being unrecognized by his brothers and how that parallels Messiah and the Jews. We can read about how Moses leading the mixed multitude of Israel out of Egypt being a picture of the Messiah leading us out of the bondage of sin, and how the parting of the sea is a picture of baptism into new life of freedom. We can tell you about who Jacob said that he wrestled with, and how angel doesn't always mean angel.
..because we KNOW these scriptures...

... but can we tell you the last time something in the word of God utterly crushed our heart? Can we share with you about the last time we were reading the proverbs and stepped outside our stoic images and confessed to the weight of our own sin?  Can we share our struggles with one another, or would that damage that crystalline image we have made of ourselves as holy and closest to God?
Would you think less of everything else that we know of the scriptures if we admitted that there are things that we fall short on?  When Paul boasted of his weakness, do we compare in the full measure or just the boasting part?

... We're Messianic  but are we believers?

Some will talk about being the TRUE Israel based on the melanin in their skin and talk about how they are the chosen race and those other Jews are a synagogue of satan just pretending to be real chosen, and they'll state clearly that the their tribe is black and goes all the way back to the beginning. Well, unless you factor in that the Tribes were already established by then and then Moses married a Cushite woman that Miriam was bad mouthing and she was struck by God making her skin as white as white can be... but.. thats besides the point.  Other will talk about the supremacy of Judah and how important is to be Jewish, and that talmud that gives all the deep insights of the authoritative Oral law as binding, well, except that the teachings of the rabbis were rebuked by the Messiah, but they seem to think that doing a 23 and me DNA test will surely help give one a holy edge. Or some still might even tell you that that we are not saved by works, and we're not, but also then tell you that if you aren't doing all the works set out then you're not saved. Some will tell you all about what Laws apply to Jews and what others are just for the Gentiles and never mind the fundamental flaw of that creating two separate standards of sin for humanity, forget that it predicates that God is a respecter of persons and favors one race above another, just disregard that the Scriptures state that there is neither Jew or Gentile at all as we are one in Messiah.

Do we know the scriptures?
What do we believe?

There are those that will tell you the biography of the catholic church and each conspiracy and alternate history where books that were never Scriptures were removed from the Bible for nefarious reasons keeping you from the super secret ultra truth. They'll invest hours and hours and hours pouring over the possibility and plausibility of a vast wide reaching NASA conspiracy that is contrived under the altruistic banner of keeping you fro knowing the.... let me check my notes... the true shape of the earth. They can tell you of all the theories of the dome but can they tell you about the deep crust that callouses the heart? There are those that will tell you that even slept with Satan and that the flood was the wash out God's very own ineptitude of genetic impurities and give you a discourse of the Nephilem that will make the Iliad look like a biography rooted in normalcy.

Bro do we even scripture?
What even are we...

Patriarchs and the Feasts

This months post is raw plagiarism  (research pulled from various sources while being to lazy to cite them)  ALL on the subject of evidences of the Appointed times of God being before Sinai. Without further ado, the fully plagiarized and not cited works on the subject.

"The story of Abraham and Lot before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, for example, is rich with Passover/Exodus themes, including that both Abraham and Lot keep a festival-type meal (including unleavened bread) with the angels on the day before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.  The angels indicate to Abraham that the birth of the promised child will be a year from then at the “appointed time.”  The word used here is “mow-ed.” Since this word is the same word used for the Feast days, just as in Genesis 1:14 where it was instituted that the sun and moon were given to designate the “mow-ed” (seasons/feasts), in essence the angel could be saying that at the time of the Feast the following year she would have the promised child.   The whole story of the Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 18, followed by the birth of the promised child exactly a year later on the "mow-ed" (Gen 21:2), appointed time of God, provides more evidence that the yearly observance of the feasts was probably already in place. "

"On the 10th day of the 2nd month he was told to go into the ark and the animals to go in with him.  Then they were in the ark for 7 days.  The 10th day of the first month was the beginning of the Passover season of the Exodus, when the children of Israel were to choose the lamb before leaving Egypt (Exodus 12:3).  But God also indicated that someone were in a time of quarantine after touching a dead body (Numbers 9:6-13) the appointed time could be kept a month later.  It is almost without question that Methuselah, Noah’s grandfather, would have died in the weeks before the Flood, for several reasons, and this would have made Noah unclean from dealing with his death. Even though they didn’t have all of the ceremonial laws then, some of the basic rules of cleanliness, sanitation, etc. are timeless and likely would have been in place or acknowledged by God in the timing of the Flood."
"Methuselah was the longest living man in history. The Bible says in Genesis 5:27 that he lived 969 years total.  But when did he die?  Genesis 5:25 says Methuselah was 187 years old when he had Lamech, and that Lamech was 182 years old when he had Noah.  Noah was 600 years old when the Flood came, and  187 + 182 + 600 = 969, so Methuselah died the year of the Flood."
As many have pointed out, his name comes from two root words “muth” meaning death, and “shalach” meaning “to bring”- or literally “his death shall bring.”  As we know from Jude 1:14 and the fact that he was translated without seeing death- Methuselah’s father Enoch was a prophet.  So, he very likely foresaw the events of the Flood and when his son would die, so likewise made his son’s name a living prophecy.   The fact that a man who was in essence named “when he dies it will come” was the longest-living human who has ever lived shows the mercy of God on sinners.  God did not want to bring judgment until every possible chance was given for repentance.

So according to God’s appointed times, the 10th day of the 2nd month could also be considered the beginning of the Passover time under those circumstances, and the 14th day would have been the Passover.  We are not told that Moses kept the Passover on the 14th day inside the ark, but neither are we told that he kept the 7th day Sabbath, yet that doesn’t mean we assume he didn’t keep it.   The Biblical themes that connect with these Flood events also help us to know that it was likely Passover (seem more below).

"The following week when the rains began on the 17th day of the month and the fountains of the earth opened up would not likely have been on the Sabbath day either, the Lord’s day of rest and peace, so it makes more sense that the day of judgment and distruction could have been a Sunday.  They were shut in the ark for 7 days from the 10th day of the month until the 17th.  If the 10th day of the month was Sunday, Thursday would have been the 14th day, Passover.  When Passover is on Thursday, the Sunday of the wave sheaf/Firstfruits occurs on the 17th day of the month.  As is clarified in Leviticus 23:15,16, the firstfruits must be on Sunday after the 7th day Sabbath, as the start of a count of 7 Sabbaths until Pentecost."

"For reference, the total time of the Flood was about a year and 10 days -from Noah’s 600th year of life, the 2nd month and 17th day of the year, to his 601st year of life, the 2nd month and 27th day of the year, as it says in the following verses;
Gen 7:11 “In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.”
Gen 8:13-14 “And it came to pass in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, that the waters were dried up from the earth; and Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked, and indeed the surface of the ground was dry. And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dried.”

"The Patriarch Joseph interestingly enough kept the Feast of Trumpets! Psalms says, “Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day. “For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob. “This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.” (81:3-5). The only “New Moon” which is a “solemn feast day” and is about blowing Trumpets – (see Leviticus 23:24) is the Feast of Trumpets that Joseph observed in Egypt. This was about 400 years BEFORE Sinai!"

"In Genesis 18 when the angels visited Abraham then went to Sodom to destroy it, they said to
Him, “At the time appointed [moedim] I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and
Sarah shall have a son.” (v.14). The “time of life” means, “[Hebrew, kaa`eet (H6256) chayaah
(H2416); with the reviving year] - i:e., the coming spring, when the winter shall be past and
nature revives (Gesenius). [Septuagint, kata ton kairon touton eis hooras (cf. 2Kings 4:16-17).]”
(Jamieson Faussett and Brown Commentary, emphasis added). At an appointed time “moedim”
meaning feast or season, in the spring Isaac was to be born.
The birth of Isaac was to occur exactly the next year at the same time, as the Pulpit Commentary
explains, “Literally, at the time reviving; i.e. when the year shall have been renewed, in the next
year, or rather spring;” (emphasis added). So it was in the spring that Sodom was destroyed.
Also Abraham prepared a meal for them, “And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy
sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
“Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:
“And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for
therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
“And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures
of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.
“And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young
man; and he hasted to dress it.
“And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he
stood by them under the tree, and they did eat. “ (Gen 18:3-8). This meal was “[Hebrew, cª'iym
(H5429)]. The seah contained six cabs, and three seahs made an ephah - i:e., about three pecks of
meal, baked into unfermented or unleavened cakes, made the supply of bread on a scale equal to
that of the animal food.” (Jamieson Faussett and Brown Commentary, emphasis added)."

"It is obvious that this was during the spring season during the Passover and the days of
unleavened bread.
After this they headed to Sodom and Gomorrah (Gen 18:16). Sodom and Gomorrah was
destroyed during this time.
This meal that Lot prepared was the meal eaten during the festival of unleavened bread, or else
why eats unleavened bread? How did Lot know that it was the unleavened bread season?
Abraham himself understood about the days of unleavened bread, and obviously told Lot. When
was this established? "

"When God made that Covenant with Abraham in Genesis the 15th chapter and showed him what
would come to pass to his seed in Egypt “and they shall afflict them four hundred years;” (v.13)
And that God would deliver them-this covenant was made on the Passover. Notice the scripture
says, “And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day
it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.”
God made the covenant with Abraham, “In the same day the LORD made a covenant with
Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river,
the river Euphrates:” (v.18). That same day was the day that started the 430 year count down.
This fact was important enough to be recorded in scripture. If the very day of Passover and the
Days of Unleavened were not important, it would not have been mentioned in a passage that
commands the observance of this festival from generation to generation."

"Eve at the Birth of her son, Cain said, “I have gotten a man from the LORD.” (Gen 4:1). This
should really read, “I have gotten a man—Jehovah” (Jonathon, Luther, Baumgarten, Lewis);
Many realize that Eve when she named Cain “signifies acquisition;” (Barnes Notes). Most
expositors think that Eve imagined Cain to be the promised seed that should bruise the head of
the serpent therefore being the Messiah (Gen 3:15). The idea of Passover going all the way back
to Eden is plausible knowing that Eve knew that a Messiah must appear to defeat the devil and to
pay the penalty for the sins of the world. Already Adam and Eve had Cain and Abel sacrificing
to God for their sins (Gen 4:3-5). Further back than this we see the sacrificial system instituted
after the fall of man (Gen 3:21; Rev 19:8).
God made coats of skins –“It is very likely that the skins out of which their clothing was made
were taken off animals whose blood had been poured out as a sin-offering to God; for as we find
Cain and Abel offering sacrifices to God, we may fairly presume that God had given them
instructions on this head; nor is it likely that the notion of a sacrifice could have ever occurred to
the mind of man without an express revelation from God. Hence we may safely infer 1. That as
Adam and Eve needed this clothing as soon as they fell, and death had not as yet made any
ravages in the animal world, it is most likely that the skins were taken off victims offered under
the direction of God himself, and in faith of Him who, in the fullness of time, was to make an
atonement by his death.” (Clarke’s Commentary, emphasis added)."

"Jacob anointed the rock and called it “God’s House.” Jesus is the Messiah; and Messiah means
“anointed one.”
Jesus body is called “God’s House.” The Church of God is called the “body of Christ” which is
the “house of God” (see 1 Corinth 12:27; 1 Tim 3:15; Heb 3:6).
Added to this, John wrote in his Gospel, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
The “Word” which is Jesus “dwelt” among us. The word “dwelt” should read “Tabernacled.”
Strong’s states, “Grk. skēnoō to tent or encamp, that is, (figuratively) to occupy (as a mansion) or
(specifically) to reside (as God did in the Tabernacle of old…” (#4637). God’s house was the
Tabernacle in the wilderness. It was his house that he dwelt, “And let them make me a sanctuary;
that I may dwell among them” (Ex 25:8).
Jesus dwelt in a “Tabernacle,” his body. Solomon wrote speaking of the temple or house of God,
“But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot
contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?” (1 Kings 8:27). When did Solomon
says this? On the Feast of Tabernacles (1 Kings 8:2). On this feast he asked when God would
dwell on the earth. Jesus Christ was born on the Feast of Tabernacles (Read our Booklet on
Christmas). Why would John use that language unless Jesus was born on that day?
Now when it comes to Jacob, him anointing the stone, and the angels ascending and descending
on it-this has all the ear marks of the feast of Tabernacles!"

"Now when it comes to Jacob, him anointing the stone, and the angels ascending and descending
on it-this has all the ear marks of the feast of Tabernacles!
Many commentators agree that the ladder was, “…probably a type of Christ, in whom both
worlds meet, and in whom the Divine and human nature are conjoined. The Ladder was set up
on the Earth, and the Top of it reached to Heaven; for God was manifested in the Flesh, and in
him dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Nothing could be a more expressive emblem of
the incarnation and its effects; Jesus Christ is the grand connecting medium between heaven and
earth, and between God and man.” (Clarkes Commentary, emphasis added).
This dream was about the incarnation of Christ-of Christ “Tabernacling” on the earth as a man."

"After the dream Jacob did not live in Palestine his permanent home but went out of his land into the lands of the east (Gen 29:1). He dwelt in tents-temporary homes, not his permanent home in Palestine. This is the whole meaning of the feast of Tabernacles."

"Jacob left after serving 20 years under Laban (Gen 31:41). God told him to return to Israel and
God mentioned the dream at Bethel (Gen 31:13). Why mention that time unless it was near the
same time of the year that the dream in Gen 28 took place? Jacob said 20 years elapsed from the
time he came to Laban house which took place after the dream in Gen 28. So it had to be near the
same time when he returned to Bethel where the covenant was re-established in Bethel again
(Gen 35). So most likely the dream of Jacob (Gen 28) took place on the Feast of Tabernacles.
"

"After the tribes of Israel came out of Egypt they had to wander in the wilderness for 40 years
before going in and possessing the Promised Land. While in the wilderness they had no
permanent dwellings. They wandered from place to place, setting up their tents, staying awhile,
then pulling their tents down and moving on.
The Israelites were heirs to the land God had promised to them. But they were not yet inheritors.
They were merely heirs waiting to become inheritors of the land of Canaan.
That is why they lived in temporary dwellings. They were sojourners, pilgrims. They lived in the
world of the wilderness, but they were not of it. Their inheritance was elsewhere.
Abraham too was also a stranger and a pilgrim! God told him, “And I will give unto thee, and to
thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an
everlasting possession; and I will be their God.” (Gen 17:8). When Abraham was in the land,
God still called him a “stranger.” His full inheritance was in the future in the Kingdom of God
when he would inherit the land for ever.
When Israel was to enter the land, God still told them, “…for the land is mine; for ye are
strangers and sojourners with me.” (Lev 25:23). Although they entered the land, their permanent
inheritance was still to come at the setting up of the Kingdom of God!
The book of Hebrews states, “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which
he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed... By faith he sojourned [a temporary stay] in the land of promise, as in a strange country [because he hadn’t yet received it for his
inheritance], dwelling in tabernacles [tents, temporary dwellings] with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs
[not yet inheritors] with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath
foundations [permanence], whose builder and maker is God” (Heb. 11:8-10).
Yes, Abraham in faith looked for the New Jerusalem and the glorious Kingdom of God. He and
other saints “died in faith, not having received the promises [the inheritance], but having seen
them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were
strangers and pilgrims on the earth” (verse 13).
They had seen them a “far off.” They were “persuaded of them” and “embraced them.” They
“confessed” that they were “tabernacling” in this world waiting for the world to come. They had
the knowledge of the meaning of the “tabernacle.” They knew of the spiritual significance of it,
and the Kingdom of God-the knowledge of salvation. Obviously God revealed to them this feast
as God revealed to Israel and the church of God. For we Christians are “strangers and pilgrims”
(1 Peter 2:11) in this life. We are in the wilderness of this world, but we are not of it (John 17:11,
14). We are separate from the world (Rev. 18:4) — heirs, but not yet inheritors, of our permanent
dwelling place, the promised Kingdom of God."

The Hebrew Race

Then when Herod saw that he had been tricked by the magi, he became very enraged, and sent and slew all the male children who were in Bethlehem and all its vicinity, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the magi.- Matthew 2

I remember reading this when I was younger and thinking about the horrible injustice of murdering all of those children.  I sometimes think about the government that is capable of such things. How did the people sit back and just let their kids be slaughtered by the government? How did they let that kind of evil stand?

So about two days ago at the time of writing this, there was a man named George Floyd that was murdered by police. The guy was arrested for writing fraudulent checks, but that by no means excuses nor justifies the police response of having him in cuffs and face down, placing their knee on his throat as Floyd begged for his life because he couldn't breath. This was murder. There is no excuse for that, full stop.

In response to that, I've seen bunch of responses on Social media. I've seen believers advocate that it was all racism that lead to the murder of Floyd while dismissing any other facts or statistics to be a racial smokescreen to excuse the police that murdered him. That breaks my heart, two fold.

I don't think that citing the statistics that show a demographic disproportionately commits more crimes justifies police murdering anyone and I think that the framing it that way doesn't help the problem. Where people of any race should be unified against arbitrary laws and an increasingly hostile police state that has abandoned justice, instead it becomes a racial divider with implications that any one race is to blame. What happened to Eric Garner was murder. What happened to Tamir Rice was murder. What happened to Duncan Kemp was murder.

Was Garners life more or less valuable than Kemps? No. Bother were american citizens whose lives were revoked by a totalitarian system that is increasingly hostile to citizenry. What should be a unifying cry against that oppressive body of government, of all races, gets lost in the crowds.
Have people asked why? Have they asked themselves why we're not unified?
Some would simply conclude that the answer is racism, and they'd be right to a degree but not to the degree in which they might expect.

Garner, Floyd and Rice were black and Kemp was not. Did masses riot in the streets over Kemp? Did the people that push the racial framework for government killings not care about Kemp because he didn't advance the racial narrative? Is racism in America a problem? Absolutely.
I lived in new Mexico where I was a fat white kid getting beat up every other day. I lived on the racial divide in Michigan where I was mugged and running through the neighborhood begging for help because I was chased by a hoard, all the while people laughed. In. My. Face. As I ran for my life lungs on fire, burning. I know what racism is. My opinions are credentialed. The city of Grand Rapids wasn't at fault, the neighborhood wasn't at fault, blacks or Mexicans weren't to blame, but those that perpetuate the evil are responsible. Those that wronged me. To stir up my situation as a white cause would perpetuate hate and wrongfully stigmatize the races of which my aggressors belong. Be angry, be righteous in your anger. Do not be unjust in your anger.

You shall not follow the masses in doing evil, nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after a multitude in order to pervert justice - Exo 23

In order to have more support when true injustice like this happens it shouldn't be framed as a racial issue but instead put in the right context, an increasingly violent and authoritarian government is murdering people that do not deserve death. That important distinction unites citizens of all races against the true enemy, instead of further perpetuating the racial divide by blacks blaming whites and whites responding to blacks. The answer to injustice is not more injustice. And people shouldn't burn down autozone, they didn't do anything either. Justice, the real justice, says we are equal in the eyes of the law. Its blindfolded. Racial prejudice is disgusting and wrong regardless if it is white one black, black on white, native, green purple or blue.

‘You shall do no injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor nor defer to the great, but you are to judge your neighbor fairly. - Lev. 19:15

Also, if you want to help the cause, truely... differentiate between the righteous and the unrighteous. Eric Garner and Tamir Rice were murdered, flat out, no two ways about it... Michael brown was not. They're not the same and shouldn't be treated as such. Their are agents within the partisan black lives matter group that seize every instance to push the narrative, and this is disadvantageous to real reform, it poisons the truth. hands up don't shoot was a lie and these false "leaders" seized upon to not let a good crisis go to waste.  The murder of Garner, Floyd, Rice, they're cheapened and diminished when put in the same context of convenience store robber Michael Brown that was shot going for a cops gun. These are not the same. Cops that murder people are guilty. Cops that help other Cops murder people are accessories to murder and should be arrested and tried as such. This does not mean that all Cops are bad. I've worked with law enforcement officials that have gone so far out of their way in justified shooting situations because they value human life.

My brethren, do not hold your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of personal favoritism. 2 For if a man comes into your assembly with a gold ring and dressed in fine clothes, and there also comes in a poor man in dirty clothes, 3 and you pay special attention to the one who is wearing the fine clothes, and say, “You sit here in a good place,” and you say to the poor man, “You stand over there, or sit down by my footstool,” 4 have you not made distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil motives?- James 2
We as people; as Citizens, if we are ever to gain ground on the reform and resolution on the issue,  We must come together on this. God set the example of one standard of Law regardless of Race, and that was Righteous. That Law is for everyone, to come weather Jew or Gentile regardless, the call was to not show partiality or mob rule or a fraternal order of police deathsquad with a license to kill. It was an open invitation to everyone to unite as one Race, The Hebrew Race.

The same law shall apply to the native as to the stranger who sojourns among you.”Exodus 12:49

Defense of Paul 3- "Paulabellum "

In case you were not some how aware that I have been plastering rebukes of Justin Best of Christian Truthers statement that Paul should be removed from the Bible, I have been . That first refute and video can be found here  and the second can be found here .  Even though others and myself have rend Justin's very flawed, bad arguments for what they are, He's still dropping videos that are leading people astray.

This Post will be everything that I see scripturally wrong with Justin's latest video which can be found here

Alright, Justin starts by pointing to Revelation 12: 11 to build a foundation for the false message that he has been espousing.

They triumphed over him
by the blood of the Lamb
    and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
    as to shrink from death.
Justin states that he hasn't been sharing the testimony as to what he attributes to Yah in order to mutilate the Word of God.  Justin tries to equate the vision that he has to be equal to Peters vision regarding going to the gentiles. He asserts that his vision is true, and keeps saying that it is true, which  according to his really bad logic in his first video, point 20, means he's not telling the truth
"20. Paul repeatedly tries to assure people that he's not lying"
Justin says that he originally loved Paul's writings and letters, but shifted to a place of questioning and sharing that with friends and family. I want to affirm that at this point, there is nothing wrong with that. Questions are good. If it weren't for questions, most of us wouldn't believe in the fullness of the Bible, or, the Bible at all. Justin has crossed no lines in questioning and looking for answers to questions. Justin says that the response he received was to study Paul from a torah perspective, and this is again a solid answer. By his own admission, Justin says that he took the advice and was even able to reconcile certain things that Paul says that Justin previously took objection. He mentions that he had once gone through the Pauline paradox series by 119 Ministries but I believe that this is similar to what is written about in James 1

22 But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; 24 for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was. 25 But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual doer, this man will be blessed in what he does.
Justin looks at the truth, and then forgets what it says. He says that he went through the Pauline Paradox series- which gives a breakdown on the point regarding Meat Sacrificed to Idols, but either forgets the explanation or deliberately abandons it.Justin says that after a year the issue came back up within him and he encountered contradictory scriptures- then self edits to say contradictory statements. We should remember that if we see contradiction in the scriptures, the culprit is more often than not, our understanding and not the scriptures themselves.

Justin states a DREAM where he has had with a cartoon map and of  Peter and a cartoon of Paul and Peter was sitting on a throne, and Paul knocked him off of his throne  knocking him off of the map. In this dream Justin says "that doesn't make any sense". Justin says that when he woke up he KNEW that this was a dream that confirmed his position.
Lets take a look at some important verse regarding this. Jeremiah 29
“Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, to all the exiles whom I have sent into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon, 5 ‘Build houses and live in them; and plant gardens and eat their produce. 6 Take wives and become the fathers of sons and daughters, and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; and multiply there and do not decrease. 7 Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf; for in its welfare you will have welfare.’ 8 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, ‘Do not let your prophets who are in your midst and your diviners deceive you, and do not listen to the dreams which they dream. 9 For they prophesy falsely to you in My name; I have not sent them,’ declares the Lord.
This is a passage that if you believe that we are in the diaspora, is pertaining to us and is warning us to not be deceived by people, like Justin, who are leading people astray, like justin, according to dreams in which they say God gave them, just like Justin.  Look at Jeremiah 23
I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy falsely in My name, saying, ‘I had a dream, I had a dream!’ 26 How long? Is there anything in the hearts of the prophets who prophesy falsehood, even these prophets of the deception of their own heart, 27 who intend to make My people forget My name by their dreams which they relate to one another, just as their fathers forgot My name because of Baal? The prophet who has a dream may relate his dream, but let him who has My word speak My word in truth.
Justin is doing this very thing by crediting a dream as confirmation of his rejection of SCRIPTURE.
Is it not possible that God was testing his heart to see if he'd obey the commands of God? That happens repeatedly in scripture. Could his dream mean that he's making caricatures out of the Word of God and in rejecting Paul, Justin is falling from his secure position and will be wiped off the map?
Could his dream be the result of eating pizza before bed? It could be any of these things, or none of these things. What it doesn't make the case for, is Divine inspiration. It fails to meet that burden. Remember in Justin's first point when he tried to make the case that Joseph Smiths story was like Paul's even though Paul lived like 1800 years prior? We can do the same thing with Justin's dream and Joseph smith
According to the account Smith told in 1838, he went to the woods to pray about which church to join but fell into the grip of an evil power that nearly overcame him. At the last moment, he was rescued by two shining "Personages" (implied to be God the Father and Jesus) who hovered above him. One of the beings told Smith not to join any existing churches because all taught incorrect doctrines.
Two biblical figures, just like in Justin's dream, regarding the church, just like Justins dream. Does anyone not see that this is how dangerous cults are formed? Let me tell you, sometimes if you binge watch a show, certain elements can show up in your dream. If you spend a lot of time reading a specific story, elements can show up in your subconscious. Last night I had a dream that involved a friend of mine that I had to substantially scale communication back from because the situation called for it. To avoid falling into sin I had to cut back. I started this post yesterday and wrote this section about how dreams can be a test. I had a dream about this friend and when I woke up I had the strong desire to reach out to them and tell them about it. Except there is a problem with that, God has already shown me that this is something that shouldn't happen. I woke up and I knew that it was a test. Instead I reached out to some brothers instead of reconnecting with my friend.
Here are examples of God testing the hearts of people to see if they will obey Him, or do what seems right in their own way , I'll cite the verses but for length I won't quote them all
Deuteronomy 8:2, Judges 2:22, Judges 3:1, Judges 3:4, 2 Chronicles 32:31
Back to Justin who again reiterates the false claim that Paul usurped the seat of authority from Peter over the gentiles. Lets take a step back and look at this for a minute... follow me here

Romans 4:16
For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all
Romans 10:12
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him
Romans 11:13-17
But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, 14 if somehow I might move to jealousy my fellow countrymen and save some of them. 15 For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? 16 If the first piece of dough is holy, the lump is also; and if the root is holy, the branches are too.17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree
Ephesians 2:19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household
Ephesians 3:6
to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel
Note that Paul reiterates the same thing that Leviticus, and Numbers, and Deuteronomy say about their being the same law, the same body, the same people being united? Justin keeps manufacturing a division between Paul and Peter and saying Peter is for gentiles not Paul, but scriptures state again and again and again that there is to be ONE body, that in Messiah you ARE descendants of Abraham. That once you come into the faith you were FORMERLY GENTILES BUT ARE NOW PART OF ISRAEL. This renders Justin's argument worthless at its core because he is denying this at its base.

Justin continues and states that as he was approaching unleavened bread he was seeing all these scriptures that were"not beneficial to Torah in Messiah". That is a pretty big claim. He's saying that scriptures were coming to him and leading him to take Paul out of the Bible in practicality. Lets ask ourselves, are there examples of the Word of God being used to deceive and lead people away?
Out of Luke 4
And he led Him to Jerusalem and had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here; 10 for it is written,
‘He will command His angels concerning You to guard You,’ ( Psalms 91:11)
11 and,
‘On their hands they will bear You up,
So that You will not strike Your foot against a stone.’”( Psalms 91:12)
12 And Jesus answered and said to him, “It is said, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’”
The Adversary is citing the Word of God to advocate action. He's just citing it incorrectly as a temptation to Yeshua!!! I believe that is the very case of what happened with Justin, but sadly, Justin succumbed to the temptation and has discarded the Word of God in favor of his OWN understanding.
Justin even says that he had this FEELING that he had to share this, Had To Share This,  HAD TO SHARE THIS. This point is also ironic that Justin accuses Paul of sharing "his own gospel" but that is what Justin is doing with spreading his doctrine advocating the abandonment of Paul.  He states that unleavened bread was the time in which he had to share this because he feels that Paul's writings have been leavened. We've already gone though in the previous posts how that isn't the case but its a matter of a faulty understanding and not the writings of Paul themselves.
Then Justin shares something sadly revealing, a popular teacher friend that struggle with the teachings of Paul abandoned faith, and Justin attributes this to the Scriptures themselves rather than the breakdown in logic used.Justin cites that his beta fish named paul died as proof that we should abandon scriptural integrity. This is not a good argument. 1 Tim 4

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
Justin goes back to the analogy that Paul is of Benjamin, the blessing of Benjamin is a ravenous wolf, therefore Paul is the wolf warned against. Here's a flaw in what he's doing there. He makes a big production about Peter being the foundation in which He builds His church right... He over emphasizes this  point. Looking at the text in Matt 16 we see it:

Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He was asking His disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” 14 And they said, “Some say John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; but still others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.” 15 He *said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.

Right AFTER Peter has this big moment, feeling good rocking the very spiritual "got the question right about the Messiah" vibes, he over does it and the in the same chapter we see this

From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day. 22 Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “God forbid it, Lord! This shall never happen to You.” 23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s.”

If we follow Justin's example and abandoned reason and just look for what we want to look for or assume is true, then Peter can't have the church be upon him because he's satan. Furthermore Justin's logic also applied here in making such a huge deal about Paul rebuking Peter for hypocrisy concerning only eating with the Jews, Justin applies a MAJOR double standard here because Peter tried rebuking YESHUA!!!
Justin goes on to mention the two types of trees with good fruit and bad fruit, and seeks out the negative framework to apply only to his interpretation of Paul. Is bad fruit rebuking Yeshua? Is bad fruit denying Him 3 times as scripture records? Why does Justin stay silent in his reasoning on Peter and so loud in applying it to Paul unless it is his own bias that he's seeking to confirm.
For clarity's sake, I do not think Peter is satan nor Paul a heretic, I have used that for illustrative purposes.

Justin... I'm sorry I'm still trying to compose myself here... Justin states that while he was in the process of twisting Yeshua's warning... Justin's wife bid him to come look outside... and there was a cloud.. shaped like a wolf... and ... because Justin thinks that a cloud... looks like a wolf... then ... Paul should be removed from the the New Testament. At this point I feel myself wondering if Justin smokes weed. Wondering if Justin was smoking weed. Because this is the logic of someone who smokes weed... That their doctrine is being confirmed by cloud shapes and a dead beta fish that only lives for about 3 years dying after about 3 years. I'm a little grieved that I even have to write a post refuting this.  Having a lion king moment does not mean that you rip out scripture.
Another interpretation of the wolf in the clouds (though I do not believe it is God) could be God trying to warn Justin that HE is becoming a wolf, doing violence to the word of God and by proxy, the church. Justin states that the timing of him looking for justification of rejecting Paul as a wolf and seeing  a cloud outside at the same time that looks like a wolf, is impossible. That claim is false.
Justin elaborates that his wife said that the cloud looked like it had the face of a man like Yah whatever Yah looks like, then an angry face and then a wolf. Could it be that that it was the Face of Yah, and while Justin was persecuting Paul Yah became angry, and warns Justin that he is becoming a wolf in sheep's clothing? I know that Justin knows 1 John 4:1 because he uses it to try and deny Paul
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Furthermore 2 thes 2 says this
For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, 12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.
I pray repentance for Justin and all who follow him. I know that some of my tone in these writings have been harsh, but they need to be based on the severity of the Sin being perpetuated. Advocating apostasy to part of the Scriptures is not something to be taken lightly over tea. This is severe.

Just sets up his next point that he went live with his first part of his objections to Paul and that him going live was unbeknownst to Adam, and while he was live Adam had his own dream.  Justin is about to go into Adams dream to bolster his claim but he's already set up a false premise. The stage he tries to set is that since Adam didn't know about Justin going live, and then Adam had a dream, this confirms independently what Justin was saying. Except, Justin has been saying all along that he's been texting Adam all of his other "confirmations" and having discussions with Adam about all of this already.
Adams dream is that he was in a cave and there were soldiers to the left and the right in a firefight with each other, and then someone came into the cave with their hands up saying "don't shoot".  He states that in the dream the man that came in and was yelling "don't shoot" was Justin. He states that justin's appearance was covered in dirt and blood and he had just come in from behind enemy lines, but it was somewhat humorous because Justin's collar was popped and the dream ended.
Justin relays that Adam thought that the dream meant that Justin is not the enemy but was just going through some stuff for a "good cause"
Another take could be that we are in  Spiritual war, and that Justin is not where he should be, instead he's just come in from the enemies side, and his collar is popped like one puffed up and flaunting, its is a symbol of preppy proudness. None of this is confirmation that we should abandon Paul.
Justin states that the popped collar in military terms hides your rank. This could mean that Justin's "rank" as a teacher is to be stripped for advocating heresy. It could be nothing. There is nothing in Adams dream that relates to rejecting Paul one way or another.

Justin mentioned a friend of a friend who had a dream. She had a dream that she was in a field  and her and her husband were planning a garden. Then she realised that there was another field. And that Justin and his wife were in another field looking where to plant. She looks and sees that Justin is talking to her husband and Justin is panicked about rushing the seeds into the ground, NOW. She was concerned but agreed, and noticed another couple who had a field. She looks again and sees her husband and another couple planting immediately. They all sow seed to prepare for planting and that snakes like vipers sprang up from the ground and tried to bite their faces. The dream ends there and she asks what it means. Justin informs us that the couple that had the dream is the first couple that they shared their views on abandoning the integrity of scripture, and the second couple was the second one they shared this doctrine of apostasy to the fullness of God's Word.

A possible accounting of this dream is that Justin is planting what is false and spreading tares among the wheat, and in doing so, invites judgement as serpents are often representative of judgement. The parable of the tares is fitting here, Lets look at Matthew 13 and look at the imagery
“Hear then the parable of the sower. 19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed was sown beside the road. 20 The one on whom seed was sown on the rocky places, this is the man who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no firm root in himself, but is only temporary, and when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he falls away. 22 And the one on whom seed was sown among the thorns, this is the man who hears the word, and the worry of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. 23 And the one on whom seed was sown on the good soil, this is the man who hears the word and understands it; who indeed bears fruit and brings forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty.”
24 Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. 26 But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also. 27 The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ The slaves *said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?’ 29 But he *said, ‘No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”
If we look at the symbolism from this parable it fits more in line with Justins situation. Justin is having issues with THE WORD, He is trying to sow this doctrine in the soil but what spouts up is not
wheat, its Serpents. Vipers. If we use the word of God the same way Justin is using the word of God, then this is a rebuke, and it honestly should be
Matthew 23:33
You serpents, you brood of vipers, how will you escape the sentence of hell?
Serpents in scripture have shown judgement
Numbers 21
The Lord sent fiery serpents among the people and they bit the people, so that many people of Israel died. 7 So the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and you; intercede with the Lord, that He may remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.
 Look at Jeremiah 8
How can you say, ‘We are wise,
And the law of the Lord is with us’?
But behold, the lying pen of the scribes
Has made it into a lie.
9 “The wise men are put to shame,
They are dismayed and caught;
Behold, they have rejected the word of the Lord
,
And what kind of wisdom do they have?
10 “Therefore I will give their wives to others,
Their fields to new owners;
Because from the least even to the greatest
Everyone is greedy for gain;
From the prophet even to the priest
Everyone practices deceit.
11 “They heal the brokenness of the daughter of My people superficially,
Saying, ‘Peace, peace,’
But there is no peace.

12 “Were they ashamed because of the abomination they had done?
They certainly were not ashamed,
And they did not know how to blush;
Therefore they shall fall among those who fall;
At the time of their punishment they shall be brought down,”
Says the Lord.

13 “I will surely snatch them away,” declares the Lord;
“There will be no grapes on the vine
And no figs on the fig tree,
And the leaf will wither;
And what I have given them will pass away.”’”
14 Why are we sitting still?
Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the fortified cities
And let us perish there,
Because the Lord our God has doomed us
And given us poisoned water to drink,
For we have sinned against the Lord.
15 We waited for peace, but no good came;
For a time of healing, but behold, terror!
16 From Dan is heard the snorting of his horses;
At the sound of the neighing of his stallions
The whole land quakes;
For they come and devour the land and its fullness,
The city and its inhabitants.
17 “For behold, I am sending serpents against you,
Adders, for which there is no charm,
And they will bite you,” declares the Lord.

Do you see how using the same elements that he's using regarding Peter and Benjamin are used against him, and overlap with the components in this dream. Lets also not forget the original serpent in the garden that was twisting the word of God.  Just as Justin goes to plant the word, what comes forward is that of the serpent.

Justin recounts that in the third dream the first couple is the first one that he shared his paper on Paul with, and the second couple in the dream is the second that he shared his paper on Paul with. That sounds to me like its on track with the interpretation that the seeds in which he is planting - disregarding Paul- are the seeds that are of the serpent. He says that they all started to fellowship together after sharing this message about Paul.
Even in Justins interpretation of the dream he affirms that the seed is the word, and how his urgency was that he needed to spread THIS word, we have to sow this seed into the ground as soon as possible. He states that trying to plant this seed in the soil, caused the snakes to come out but nobody has gotten bitten. Justin justifies that since no one was bitten then these snakes are not a warning God to repent but rather these snakes are believers that are attacking his position of aborting 2/3rds of the new testament . Jeremiah 23
Thus says the Lord of hosts,
“Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are prophesying to you.
They are leading you into futility;
They speak a vision of their own imagination,
Not from the mouth of the Lord.
17 “They keep saying to those who despise Me,
‘The Lord has said, “You will have peace”’;
And as for everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart,
They say, ‘Calamity will not come upon you.’

This is what I am hearing when Justin is saying that the serpent will not bite and that no calamity will befall him. He should repent. Justin states rightly, one of the few points that I agree with him on, is that all of these things were either choreographed by Satan or of by Yah. Satan to steal kill and destroy, or by Yah to test their hearts to see if they will adhere to what is true over what they want to see. Justin has experienced the  "Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon" or "frequency illusion".
Baader-Meinhof is the phenomenon where one happens upon some obscure piece of information-- often an unfamiliar word or name-- and soon afterwards encounters the same subject again, often repeatedly.
Justin was relying on his own understanding and came to the conclusion that Paul should not be scripture, Then, the Baader-Meinhof/Frequency Illusion kicked in and he was seeing "signs" everywhere. God could have killed his fish as a way to say, "this is what you are doing to my word, Stop" but Justin saw that as confirmation that we should "Kill Paul's writings"
The Frequency illusion is like when you buy a car and then see that care everywhere. They've made a movie about the premise, the Number 23.  I have a friend who sees the number 14 as revelation from God everywhere, and she believes in some crazy weird stuff like werewolves and things. None of this is proof.

Justin lists a list of reasons why he doesn't think that Satan is using this couple because they're humble Torah observant and home-school and goes on to list several good deeds to try and make the claim . This point is very easily refuted by reading the Genesis account and how the Serpent deceived the only people alive while they were still in a state of PERFECTION.

Justin makes the claim that many people outside of torah, of different faiths are now excited about what he's sharing and excited to get into the Word because Justin has removed scripture from it. He states that he's getting SO many messages of people that are interested and that is justification for what he's doing. Except, I know he's seen this passage because he keeps pulling from it
Matt 7
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14 For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
15 “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves
He puts himself in a catch 22, because on the one hand he's remarking about all these people not of Torah that are saying such good things and praising him...
Luke 6:26 "Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for their fathers used to treat the false prophets in the same way.
...and on the other hand the rest of the Torah community is chastising him, which, is a point that he uses in his justification in disregarding Paul. Justin notes that half of the Torah community is mad at him and that should be a warning against his false doctrine, but instead of repentance he doubles down. He states that the ends justify the means because he's convincing Christians in regards to the Torah. This is false. This is outright false. Justin is doing the thing he accused Paul of when Paul said he becomes all things to all men. Justin is becoming one who disregards scripture to appeal to those who also want to disregard scriptures. This is asinine.

Justin closes his video with boasting about how he's studied for two years as if that is a significant amount of time to study a matter. Ironically, He's doing the thing that he accuses Paul of except Paul boasted in his own suffering on behalf of the Gospel, but Justin is boasting about having spent two years on the subject. Justin makes the argument that the amount of time hes spent studying means that he's incapable of being deceived. I've been in this walk for about 17 years and I have shown answers to these heresies, but even I know that I am not infallable.  Peter was standing right in front of the MESSIAH and was walking with the SAVIOR and HE was learning directly from GOD in FLESH and HE STILL had to be rebuked. Paul had to sit at the feet of Gamaleil for THREE YEARS before he could even talk to anyone one the subject of the gospel. Who is Justin that he believes that he has become infallible to the word of God and correction? A soft spoken man blinded by his own hubris preaching what is false, assembling disciples after himself. Justin says that the most important thing is to recognize your own sin, and the irony of how he's using that statement is not lost on me. We should endeavor to pray or Justin that God would bring about repentance, but until he does, he should be handed over to destruction.
